MIXED BILLING POLICY

Mixed Billing Policy

We are introducing MIXED BILLING for consultations for all doctors at the practice.

This will be effective from Monday 23rd January 2023.

Patients who do not fall into one of the following categories means that a $25 – $39 GAP (out of pocket) fee will apply.
• Children under 16 years,
• Health Care Card, Pension Card Holders and DVA card holders
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.

*Fees will also apply to telehealth appointments.

Only eligible patients will be bulk billed under Medicare Rebates Services.
These patients include;
• Children under 16 years,
• Vaccinations – COVID, Influenza and child vaccinations
• Health Care Card, Pension Card Holders and DVA card holders
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.
• Appointments made for follow up investigations to discuss any medical results

You must present your valid Concession Card along with your current Medicare Card at the time of your appointment in order to be bulk billed.

Non Medicare Card Holders / Fees

Each doctor within the practice has set fees for private paying patients. Billing will depend upon the services provided during your consultation. All accounts need to be settled on the day, after your consultation. Information on fees is available on request. As a guide, standard consultation fees range from $40.00 – $80.00.

Payment Methods

Our policy is that payments are to be made on the day of consultation. Accepted payment method is cash or EFTPOS facilities are available.
